MEDIU organized a gathering to present on the achievements for the 3rd Quarter 2014 on Wednesday, 8 October 2014. The gathering was presented to all MEDIU’s employees in the presence of MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi accompanied by the University’s management. MEDIU’s CEO stressed up how the teamwork plays an important role to success. He also urged the staff to perform and expressed his acknowledgement to those who are dedicated in ensuring all the objectives achieved.
The University managed to achieved 81.98% for the third quarter of 2014. While the percentage of late objectives is 3.81%, suspended 3.3%, carried forward is 9.52% and remaining 1.4% objectives were dropped. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi presented the Financial Report of the University’s up to September 201, focusing on the operational budget since 2008. He also highlighted on MEDIU’s achievement in the number of academic programs listed in the Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR). Asst.Prof.Dr.Shaker Bany Melhem; Deanship of Student Affairs Department presented on the evaluation om the students questionnaire in regards to MEDIU’s academic and student services which was submitted via CMS. In order to increase the working spirit and appreciate the effort of the staff, MEDIU rewarded the best staff who achieved their targets and accomplished their tasks as well as raising the level of quality and efficiency.
The honored ‘Best Staff of the Month’ for the 3rd Quarter/2014 as below:
- Magdy A.Azim from Administrative Affairs Division (July)
- Tayeb Mebrouki from Department of Postgraduate Studies (August)
- Jafar Batiha from Academic Affairs Division (September)
All the winners were given the certificates of appreciation from the management of the university along with cash prizes. The awards are based on several evaluations from their daily reports, performance and their punctuality with good attendance as well as their commitment to their job.
