Courtesy visit by Sh. Mishary Rashid Alafasy

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an honored guest; Sh.Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Imam, eminent Quran Reciter and Preacher on Monday, 31 August 2015. The honored guest was welcomed by His Excellency CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi aong with university’s official. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi expressed his pleasure and gratefulness of the visit by the Imam of the Grand Mosque, Kuwait.

Visual presentations of the University’s and its history; which provides an overview of the University’s faculties and academic programs were being presented by Dean of Admission and Registration; Asst. Prof. Dr Mohammed Abdulrazzaq Nasser. An explanation on the educational systems applied in the virtual campus as well as communication mechanism between the faculty members and its students- education system of ALIM were being delivered as well.

Sh.Mishary Rashid Alafasy expressed his gladness on the University’s achievement; developed programs and its technology systems. Later, the honored guest accompanied by Honorable CEO made an office tour to view the academic and administrative facilities closely. During the visit; Sh.Mishary Rashid Alafasy had the opportunity to delivered the recitation of Quran verses to the member of public.

At the end of the visit, His Eminence Sheikh Salah Mohammed Al-Budair stated in the guest book, “It is indeed a privilege of visiting MEDIU and to meet with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, pride on the university’s programs in the dissemination of knowledge within the latest technology in the development of the global community, indeed a renewal and transformation in the education sector.
