Seminar on ‘Advancements on Online Learning Methods’

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in Seminar ‘Advancements on Online Learning Methods’ which was held in Shell Tower, Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 5 December 2014. MEDIU was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr Mohammed Abdulrazzaq Nasser, Dean of Admission and Registration.  The seminar was organized by GlobalNxt University, a Manipal Group Institution. The program seeks to discuss the quality of inputs and outputs of distance education and the basics of the services provided in the field of higher education with participation from Malaysian public and private universities representatives.

The objective of this seminar is to provide a mechanism explaining the advantages of higher education through the use of the internet medium, which now seems to be the current trend in education services based on the principles of e-learning. This is due to the high demand for application development, long-distance learning program, which can produce high quality graduates. Among the topics the participants acquaint from the seminar includes learning theories, designing online courses, learning tools and technology, online assessment and others.
