School Motivation Camp SERATI-MEDIU

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently organized a motivation camp program with the primary school students of Sekolah Rendah Agama Tarbiyyah Islamiyya( SERATI) in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak on 4-5 July 2015. The 2 days program is organized by the students of Foundation of Islamic Sciences & Arabic Languages and attended by Dean, Faculty of Languages; Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega and lecturer, Mr.Othman A.M. Miaikil.

Camp motivation was to strengthen the spirit of these children in their daily learning, personal development and also maintain contact with the creator and the surrounding communities. This camp is to build students’ inspiration and create strengths that exist in themselves and the spirit of friendship and cooperation in a team. In addition, participants were also exposed to the personal nature of the human example of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions as a very useful guide in this life and in the hereafter. The participants had the opportunity to learn a little bit of knowledge relating to Islam and the use of Arabic.

The program Director, Brother Daniel Wan Omar said it is their duty to guide the next generation of students in improving the understanding of the values of Islam and Arabic language to continue to practice it among the people.
