Qurban Eidul Adha Program 1439H in Chad, Africa

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently held its Qurban Ceremony in Chad, Africa from 20-26 August 2018. The program was part of university’s corporate social responsibilty in regards to community program to strengthen the ties with the Muslim communities globally as well to uphold the spirit of ukhwwah among Muslims in the spirit of Eidul Adh led by Ust.Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations Department.

The program was a collaboration with EZ Qurban Sdn.Bhd with the cooperation of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Chad and the Association of Religious Schools of the Republic of Tanzania. The program has been successfully implemented in almost 135 separate locations in Chad, Kenya and Tanzania covering villages in several provinces involving Islamic education centers, Al-Quran Tahfiz Institutions, refugee settlements from neighboring countries, welfare and refugee camp, orphanage homes and others.

The program has full cooperation from the local authorities of the Islamic Affairs Council and the Veterinary Department covering almost 1,000 cows, where the mission of the qurban worship has been devoted entirely for humanitarian aid program.
