CEO attend Putrajaya Premier Lecture 2nd Series

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi attend the 2^nd Lecture Series of Syarahan Perdana Putrajaya (Putrajaya Premier Lecture Series) which was held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on Tuesday, 27 May 2014. The program is premier lecture series; an idea mooted by YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak; Malaysia’s Prime Minister. The program consist of showcases lectures by world-renowned intellectuals and experts in issues relevant to modern day society. His Honorable CEO was accompanied by Mr.Fuad Ahmad Umar Al As, Manager of Administrative Affairs Division.

The second lecture in the series entitled “Past Achievements and Present Challenges in the Muslim World” was delivered by Dr.Farhan Ahmad Nizami. The lectures provide a greater understanding and insight into the evolution of contemporary Islam and its revivalism. Dr.Farhan Ahmad Nizami is a Fellow in Study of the Islamic World, Magdalen College Oxford, Founding Director of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies. The centre provides a meeting point between the Islamic and Western worlds of learning.
