Orientation Day for Malaysian Students (Sept 2018 Intake)

An orientation day to welcome the new students for the September 2018 intake was held on Monday, 24 September 2018. The new students enrolled for the university’s program mostly in Foundation in Arabic Languages and Islamic Studies, Bachelor of Languages (Hons) in Arabic Language & Literature and Bachelor of Islamic Sciences.

The orientation program is collaborated under the Students Affairs Division namely Mr. Abdoulaye Mahamat Zakariya, Mr. Muhammad Raziq Razman alongside with Marketing department and Admission department as well as the MEDIU’s Malaysia Students Association (PERMAM) and the Students Representative Council (SRC).

An opening speech and motivational talk by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Student Affairs, Alumni, Research & Innovation Division, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Sulaiman Bin Wan Yusoff in welcoming the new students by giving a welcome remarks, encouragement and advice to the new students.

The ceremony continued with the speech from our honourable Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Emer. Dr. Ismawi Zen and the Deputy CEO of Academic & Internationalization Affairs Division, Prof. Dr. Ab Rahim Bin Ismail brief information about the university.

The orientation session continues with briefing session among others on student portal, Advanced Learning & i-Management system (ALIM), examination and records, credit transfer and financial assistance as well as faculties introduction to the new students.
