Nigerian Students’ Award Ceremony

The Nigerian Students’ Association recently organized a graduation and award ceremony for the class of 2016 on Monday, 13 February 2017. The event was to create awareness, unity and peace among the Nigerian students of the university with other students and attended by lecturers, staffs and students from various faculties and departments.

The event began with an opening speech by President of the Nigerian Students’ Association, Mr. Sulaimon Kazeem Abiodun, followed by a series of short speech by the faculties representatives. A motivational speech was delivered Asst. Prof. Dr. Bakare Kazeem Kayode from Faculty of Education meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Alkhawlani, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division delivered a farewell speech to the students. Awards and certificates presentation were distributed to the students as well as lecturers namely Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Alkhawlani, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Wael Yafooz, Madam Bibi Asma Sher Mohamed, Dr. Uthman Miakil, and Engr. Muzaffar Nouman to acknowledged their dedication.
