New Duration of Study for 8 PhD programs

Recently, MEDIU’s Registrar Department has received an acknowledgement from Ministry of Education for approval to reduce the duration of study from three(3) years to two(2) years for the following On Line-By Research PhD academic programs

The eight(8) programs are :

1. PhD in Qira’at –  MQA/PA0217
2. PhD in Qada’ and Siyasah Shar’iyyyah MQA/PA0216
3. PhD in Ulum Al-Hadis – MQA/PA0215
4. PhD in Da’wah – MQA/PA0219
5. PhD in Aqidah – MQA/PA0218
6. PhD of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) – MQA/PA0132
7. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of Education (Educational Foundation) – MQA/PA1296
8. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of Education : Educational Psychology (By Research) – MQA/PA1295

In general, Ministry of Education serves as a body that acts for the establishment and registration of the academic programs of an educational institution or university. The academic programs will then be subject to the inspection of  Malaysian Qualification Agency(MQA) for monitoring and overseeing the quality assurance practices and accreditation of national higher education
