MQA Accreditation Visit – Faculty of Computer & IT

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for its bachelor academic programs(online/on campus) for the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology on 8-9 April 2015. The delegation panels were Prof Madya Datin Dr Noor Habibah Arshad (UITM), Dr Azidah Abu Ziden (USM), Dr Zulkefli Mansor (UKM) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Puan Naziatul Ilyana Ilyas.

The PhD academic program that were being evaluated is Bachelor of Information Technology in Management Information System (Hons) – PA9479 & PA0786.  The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc.Prof. Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman along with the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology; Asst. Prof. Dr. Najeeb Abbas Al-Sammarraie along with the academic faculty members, registrar personnel as well as administrative officers.

The evaluation of the programs involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers through online method. At the end of the visit, MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
