MQA Accreditation Visit (December)

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for the bachelor program for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences on Monday-Wednesday, 1-3 December 2014. The delegation panels were led by Dr. Abdul Rahman Ssenathirajah (Linton Univ. College), Assoc. Prof. Dr Rozinah Jamaludin (USM), En. Aw Yoke Cheng (UNITAR International College) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Puan Siti Fauziah Hassan.

The bachelor academic program that were being evaluated is Bachelor of Business Administration in E-Commerce (Hons) – A 9475 and Bachelor of Business Administration in E-Commerce (Hons) – MQA/FA 0783. The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Research and Development Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences; Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani along with the academic faculty members; Prof. Dr. Barjoyai Bardai, Prof. Dr. Humam Mohamed, Prof. Dr. Sadun Naser Yassin Alheety, registrar personnel and administrative officers were involved in the visit as well.

The evaluation of the program involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers through online method. At the end of the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
