MQA Accreditation Visit

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for PhD academic program on Wednesday-Thursday,19-20 February 2014. The delegation panels were Dr.Luqman Abdullah(UM) and Asst.Prof.Dr.Hj.Abdul Samat Musa(USIM) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Puan Rosmaliza Mohaidin.

The PhD academic program that were being evaluated is an PhD in Qada’and Siayasah Shar’iyyah (MQA/FA0216)-Online. The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Associate Professor Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ramadan Mohamed Abdelmoeti Ali and Asst. Prof. Dr.Muhammad Said Al Mujahed; Head of Program. Academic faculty members, registrar personnel and administrative officers were involved in the visit as well.

The evaluation of the Qada’and Siayasah Shar’iyyah program involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers through online method. At the end of the visit, MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
