MEDIU’s 19th Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 19^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2014 on Friday, 11 April 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award student [MFS103AJ094] majoring Master in Fiqh Al-Sunnah (Structure B) with CGPA:3.54
• To award student [MTF123AY013] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Structure A)
• To award student [MAR123AX822] majoring Master in Arabic Language Studies (Structure B) with CGPA:3.76
• To award student [MTF113AS249] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Structure B) with CGPA:3.27
• To award student [MDW103AF438] majoring Master in Da’wah (Structure B) with CGPA:3.81
• To promote staff [EMPL 1263] to ‘Assoc.Prof’ due to increasing points in the google scholar publication according to the lecturer’s promotion regulation.
