MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 17th Academic Senate Meeting of 2014 on Friday, 21 March 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.
Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:
- To terminate the following students due to discontinues of his/her studies for more than two weeks in a semester according to Article 20 of the Executive Rules of Study and Examination.

- To terminate student [MAR133BB478] who fail to sit in all final examination papers in Sept 2013 according to Article 35 of the Postgraduate Rules.
