MEDIU Visit to Kuwait Embassy, Kuala Lumpur

Selangor, Malaysia: MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi visited The Honorable Kuwait Ambassador; His Honorable Saad Asousi in Kuwait Embassy, Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, 19 February 2014. MEDIU’s CEO was welcomed by the Honorable Ambassador and was pleased with the presence of MEDIU’s representatives. The official purpose of the visit was to deliver an invitation letter to Kuwait Embassy to discuss on relevant way that can benefit both parties.

The visit was accompanied by General Manager of Al-Madinah International Foundation(MIF), Mr. Baharuddin Ab.Rahman. University’s profile with the activities that have been conducted, its academic programs and teaching methods as well as the technical regulations to facilitate the learning process were presented during the meeting.
His Honorable Ambassador; Saad Asousi made a statement to the Kuwait News Agency stating that the meeting with MEDIU was an introduction in cooperation of pursuing Kuwaiti students furthering their education in MEDIU. MEDIU is a private education sector recognized by Malaysia Ministry of Education and supported by several Gulf Arab countries and the Muslim world. The institutions are also listed in the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), The European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning (EFQUEL) and the Global Association of the University Company Unions under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Kuwait’s the most important supporters of the university waqaf project since its inception in 2007; through the Ministry of Awqaf and several corporations such as the Heritage Society and the Rise of Islamic Charitable Organizations, Zakat House as well as private bodies and charity organizations.
