MEDIU participated in Kedah International Zakat Conference 2019 (KEIZAC 2019)

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in Kedah International Zakat Conference 2019 (KEIZAC 2019) organized by Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK) with the theme “Sustainability Through Zakat Transformation Agenda” held on 5 August 2019 at Menara Zakat, Alor Setar, Kedah.

MEDIU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasser Mohamed Tarshany; Head of Department of Fiqh and Usul Fiqh, Faculty of Islamic Sciences where he delivered a research paper entitled “The Objectives of Zakat in Islam (Malaysia Model)”.

The conference provide a platform for the intellectuals and industries from various fields to discuss and share knowledge pertaining to current worldwide issues pertaining to Zakat perspective.
