MEDIU participated in Malaysia Higher Education Carnival 2015 (Pahang)

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in Malaysia Higher Education Carnival 2015 which was held recently at Sultan Ahmad Shah International Convention Centre (SASICC) in  Pahang on 14-15 February 2015. SASICC is the First Zone of the education carnival and organized by the Ministry of Education, to motivate the school leavers to obtain accurate and timely information on various educational opportunities in Malaysia. The education exhibition is aimed at promoting and disseminating information on opportunities for higher education especially for the high school leavers holding the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent.

MEDIU’s representatives through the 2 days events were Miss Faridah Baharun and Mr. Esmail Al-Mokhtar from the Marketing department and assisted by Mr. Muhammad Shareez, Customer Service officer. They have taken the opportunity as a platform to market MEDIU’s academic programs to the prospective students in person as well as to create awareness to the public on the admission and registration requirements. The exhibition help school leavers in the state of Pahang to obtain more information on MEDIU and able to communicate directly with the University’s officers if they are keen and interested to know the programs offer by the University.

A total of 77 applications were received during the two days education carnival, which involves STAM(11 applications), STPM(9 applications), meanwhile 57 database of prospective students (SPM 2016) were received during the carnival. Majority of the applications received gave a positive feedback to know more on the undergraduates academic programs for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
