MEDIU participated in ‘Conference of Development and Innovation’ in Kuwait

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in the Conference of Development and Innovation which was held at Jumeirah Hotel, Kuwait on Sunday, 23 March 2014. MEDIU has received an official invitation from Kuwait and was represented by MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, Deputy CEO of International Relations; Dr.Ahmad Al-Shiha and accompanied by General Manager of Al-Madinah International Foundation(MIF), Mr. Bahrudin Bin. A Rahman.

The conference is organized by the Public Authority of Kuwait of Quran and Sunnah to discuss issues related to the upholding, printing and publishing on the Qur’an and Sunnah under the auspices of the Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait; Dr. Nayef Al-Ajmi. Among the participants in the conference including researchers, academician and expertise from Kuwait and abroad. The presence of the participants are from those whom are interested in the development of the system and to contribute effectively in building the future of the organization and to assist to overcome the challenges faced by the Public Authority of Kuwait.

Dr. Nayef Al-Ajmi convinced of the need to apply modern management aspects of excellence, emphasizing the efforts of the authorities to make strategic planning platform for performance through the use of their own expertise to achieve maximum benefit. Furthermore, he emphasizes on the excellence and innovation in the service of the Qur’an and Sunnah according to international best practices, emphasizing openness to new ideas and innovations that maximize performance and achieve added value done by the authority.

Meanwhile the General Deputy Director of Research and Education, Dr.Fahd Daihani in his speech expressed the idea of ​​the conference is to obligate brainstorming session for seeding ideas and proposals in efforts to release potential participants in the dialogue in order to achieve more flexibility and interaction in the development and positive debate to enhance collective participation and team spirit.

Advisor to the Minister of Awqaf, Dr Khalifa Al Kuwari said that the Government of Kuwait will led to the development and to study the opinions and suggestions thus to benefit from their expertise. He also urged the conference participants to submit suggestions and ideas to contribute to the completion of landmark projects in the service of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
