MEDIU participated in 32nd Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU)

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in the 32nd Annual Conference and General Board Meeting (GBM) of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) which was held recently in Hanoi, Vietnam from 22-27 October 2018 with the theme ‘Open Education in Human Resource Development in Asia’s Period of Integration’. MEDIU was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr Bakare Kazeem Kayode from the Faculty of Education, in which he presented two research grant papers at the conference which has attracted nearly sixty-two(62) institutional members from 23 countries participation. The conference provides the catalyst for knowledge sharing among participants, particularly in the areas pertaining to the conference theme. The recommendations and outcomes of the conference will have far-reaching benefits to the open and distance learning (ODL) community, especially those from the Asia region.
