MEDIU organized Seminar ‘The Role Ummah Scholar in Exploring Traditions of the Prophet’

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) recently held a seminar on ‘The Role of Ummah Scholar in Exploring Traditions of the Prophet’. The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Khalifa Al-Tamimi which was held on Tuesday, 25 March 2014 .
The Faculty of Islamic Sciences believes in the need to create such seminars and conferences in the aimed to strengthened the Sunnah and provide explanation and facts relevant to strengthen the teaching of the Islamic religion.

The session started with recitation of the Al-Quran by Muhammad Anas Naji, lecturer from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. This followed by the presentation of eight research papers based on related topics by the faculty members.

The session began with a presentation from Asst . Prof Dr Said I.S. Dwikat with his ​​research entitled “The need to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet from the verses of the Quran”. His paper focuses on the importance and the need to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet based on the verses of the Quran. Followed by Asst.Prof. Misbah Al Haq Muhammad Najm Al Haq presentation on ” The ways to protect the interests of the Sunnah” in which he stressed the ways and mechanisms established in addition to the old way of defending the Sunnah legal sources.

Asst . Prof. Dr. Ibrahim N Tadahoud presented study entitled “Relations between the Holy Quran and Sunnah” at the third session. It focuses on the overall correlation between the Quran and Sunnah, meanwhile the fourth session was presented by Mr.Mohammad Mr.Hamid Aali with his study entitled “Authentic Year” which focuses on the arguments being pronounced to be the most reliable Islam in all its affairs .

Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences; Asst. Prof Dr Mohamed Ramadan Abdelmoeti study was presented at the fifth session and was followed by a research paper presented by Asst . Prof Dr Anisur Rahman on “Judgment in Islam”

At that seventh session, Dean of Graduate Studies; Asst.Prof.Dr Doukoure Massire present “The Prophet of Islam in Western Thought ” and seminar concludes with “Sunnah in Islam Contemporary” by Asst . Prof Dr Sékou Touré which focused on the role of the preacher n giving accurate, clear information and evidence.

Lastly, Mr.Doucoure Abdou Samadou as the Organizing Committee expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University’s administration on the support given in the organization of such programs and seminars for the benefit of the Ummah.
