On Thursday, July 13, 2023, Al-Madinah International University, represented by its CEO, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistani University of The Punjab, which is considered one of the oldest Pakistani universities, as it was founded in 1881. The signing ceremony for the agreement took place virtually, and the University of the Punjab was represented by its chancellor, Dr. Khaled Mahmoud, and a number of deans and deputies in both universities attended the meeting. At the outset, Dr. Abdullah Saad A. Alarefi welcomed the management of University of the Punjab, emphasizing what distinguishes Al-Madinah International University is its acquisition and use of technology in education, stressing the need for cooperation between universities In the interest of scientific research and postgraduate studies. For his part, Dr. Khaled Mahmoud expressed his happiness at the establishment of this agreement with Al-Madinah International University, stressing the distinguished role played by the university in Malaysia and its surroundings in Southeast Asia, hoping that this agreement will be a fundamental pillar in further cooperation in the near future.
