MEDIU attended Sudanese Cultural Festival, UM

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) attended the Sudanese Cultural Festival on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 which held in Dewan Tunku Canselor, University of Malaya(UM). The event is held in conjunction with the 60th Sudanese Independence Day and the fiirst-ever cultural festival to introduce the north African country’s culture to Malaysians.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Khalid Abdelgadir Shukri; Ambassador of Sudan to Malaysia,  Head of the Sudanese Community Association, embassies diplomats as well as various government and private universities officials.The two days festival showcases Sudanese folklore, arts and musical performances, bazaar booths featuring Sudanese food, beauty and health products. MEDIU was represented by Deputy CEO of Student Affairs Division, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Sulaiman Bin Wan Yusoff and accompanied by Asst.Prof.Dr. Yousef Abu Baker El-Ebiary, Dean of Student Affairs and Mr. Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations Department.
