Al-Madinah International University held its 3rd Convocation Ceremony at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), Shah Alam on Thursday, 14 November 2019. The graduation ceremony was conferred by the His Highness Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Muhammad AlSaud, University’s Chairman in the presence of university’s council members namely His Excellency Prof Dr. Saad Nasser Alshiathry, Honorable Prof Dr. Mohammad Ali Al Oqla, Honorable Dr. Yahya Ibrahim A. Al Yahya, Prof. Datuk Syed Mohammad Al-Saggaf and Honorable Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi.
The convocation ceremony witness many distinguished guests among others are ambassadors, embassy representatives, private and government representatives, university officials whom witnessed the graduation of 217 students from PhD, Master and Bachelor level. MEDIU’s Acting CEO, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Sulaiman Bin Wan Yusoff in his welcoming speech expressed his appreciation and gratefulness to all the individual which have made and continue in providing the university’s with all the sources and facilities, thus achieved its great achievements and deserved to celebrate this joyous graduation ceremony for its undergraduate and postgraduate’s students.
Prince Dr. Bandar’s express his gratitude and appreciation to the university’s management, faculty members and staff on this joyous occasion and pray for the graduates to continue to progress in their future undertakings and to achieve the goals of this world and in the Hereafter.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr Mohd Zamri Bin Mohd Zainuldin spoke on behalf of the graduates, where he expressed his joy at completing his doctorate in MEDIU with the determination to continue his studies at the highest level with the help and support of his distinguished supervisors and lecturers. He also emphasized to other graduates that the knowledge and experience gained at MEDIU should be shifted to the right medium to educate the people to a more knowledgeable generation especially in the area of higher education in the field of Islamic science.
