MEDIU 37th Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 37^th EMC meeting for 2014 on Thursday, 28 August 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• The approve on the recommendation by Research and Development Division on the training centre programs for September 2014 namely ‘Malay Language for Non-Speaker’, ‘Research Methodology’, ‘Project Management’ and ‘Web Development’.
• To appoint ‘Asst.Prof.Dr.Usman Jakfar’ as Dean, Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
• To appoint ‘Asst.Prof.Dr.Umar Aliyu Abu Bakar’ as Head, Department of Fiqh and Usul Al Fiqh.
• To appoint ‘Assoc.Prof.Dr.Yousif Hasan Mohammed’ as Head, Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
• To appoint’ Mr.Ali Abdo Abdallah Al-Manakhi’ as Head, Graduation Unit for Postgraduate Deanship.
• To appoint ‘Mr.Ahmed Othman’ as Secretariat, Postgraduate Board.
