Amazed with Malaysia’s Natural Beauty

Harian Metro launched a weekly column ‘Expression’ every Sunday featuring the lives and experiences of expatriates and foreigners from all over the world, in regards to Malaysia as their ‘Second Home’. For the beginning of 2015, the expatriates from Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) were selected to be interviewed by the Harian Metro journalist, Mrs.Aniza Zainuddin for the weekly column.
Asst. Prof.Dr. Yasser Mohamed Tarshany from Egypt, claimed the soothing calming ambience that made him interested in the life in Malaysia. He also has plans to visit Malaysia’s interesting and historical places with his family to come later in the month of Ramadan this year. Dr. Yasser which has been in Malaysia since July last year, states the obstacle he faced the most is communication barrier due to language differences. However, he said it was fun to learn new language, moreover Bahasa Malaysia is not too difficult to learn if we are really keen to learn it.
The serene and peaceful environment of the city of Shah Alam became his favourite locations as well as the Blue Mosque (Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah) and states that he did not miss the chance to perform his Friday prayers in the beautiful mosque.
