Fire Awareness & Survival Talk

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) hold a Fire Awareness & Survival Talk on Thursday, 10 April 2014 organized by the Malaysia Fire Prevention Centre(FPC). The awareness campaign with the mission to create awareness among MEDIU’s staff in order to reduce fire incidents as well as to learn, prevent and survive in a fire blaze was presented by FPC Safety Lecturer, Mr.Jeff.

Among the highlights of the program ‘What is the first step to take in a sudden fire outbreak?’, ‘What are the consequences of applying wrong escaping methods?’, ‘When do you think a fire hazard will happens on us? Impossible?’ are some of the topics that were discussed during the one hour program.

The purpose of the talk is to help more people to understand the usual fire occurrences, and to teach them the techniques to reduce the risks of death and injury in the event of a fire. Indeed, it was an important issue to learn and be equipped with the knowledge in order to save the life of your colleagues, loved ones or perhaps even our own selves during a fire hazard.
