Educational School Visit by SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab, Melaka

Strengthening the Arabic language through proper communication usage is the aim of the community service program organized by Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) for 25 students of SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab Melaka on Monday, 9 April 2018. The initiative is to create a professional and competitive younger Muslim generations in dunya and akhirah.

Head of Academic Affairs of SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab; Ustaz Mohd Ikhwan bin Zahari, said the appreciation of the Arabic language as well as the proficiency in it is f important in building excellent human capital professionals. The generation of Ulul Albab ​​today are focusing to become engineers, doctors and so forth but we also recommend the students to embark in the Islamic knowledge areas and become professionally in the areas itself. The program was chaired by Brother Syed Amir Bin Habib, TV Alhijrah (Arabic Newsreader) and is also a MEDIU student from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.

According to MEDIU’s CEO, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Ismawi Zen he stated that the Arabic language proficiency requires certain techniques and approaches to facilitate the access of its various knowledge. Therefore, the program today is an exposure to the language learning techniques or approaches so that students are easier to approach and understang the language. SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab was founded in 2012 by Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamid. It is a dual-concept concept, the national curriculum combined with the Quran program such as the learning model at Sekolah Imtiaz Kemaman Terengganu.

MEDIU was represented by MEDIU’s Chief Executive Officer; Faculty of Language Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr Abdulwasiu Isiaq Nasirudeen; Prof. Dr. Daud Abdul Quadir Elega, Director of Language Preparation Center; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed, Dr. Abduloh Usof and Mr. Mohd. Syahrin bin Ab Rahman, Head of Marketing Department.
