Discourse Session with Syeikh Mustafa Deib al Bagha

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored visit by prominent Syrian scholar, Syeikh Mustafa Deib al Bagha on Wednesday, 16 September 2015. The honored scholar expressed his gratitude to the University’s management for the opportunity and was welcomed by MEDIU’s academician namely Othman A.M. Miaikil, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elsiddeg Ahmed Elgezoly, Asst Prof Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Salem, Prof. Dr. Sadun Naser Yassin Alheety and Mr.Jamaluddin Hussain who expressed their pleasure for his visit.

Syeikh Mustafa Deib al Bagha presented a valuable discourse session on Kitab ‘Matan al Waraqat’ written by Imam Al Haramain Al- Juwaini Rahimahullah. The program has attracted participation of nearly 200 participants consisting of university’s students, teachers and academician, media representatives as well as the the local community who wouldn’t missed the chance to grab the opportunity to listen his session.

Syeikh Mustafa Deib al Bagha was born in Damsyik, Syria is a renowned lecturer from Mu’tah University, Jordan and a graduate from Al Azhar University, Egypt in the field of Fiqh and Usul Fiqh. He has produced several islamic books and journals such as ‘Minhaj Fiqh Al-Wafi Syarah Arba’in An-Nawawi’  which has been referred by many Muslims today.
