Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guest; Sheikh Prof. Dr. Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Omar, Head of International Association of Tadabbur Al-Quran on Thursday, 17 November 2016. The honored guest expressed his gratitude to the to the university’s staff and students.
The program begins with a welcoming remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr Elsayed Mohamed Salem in which he explains the personal profile of Prof. Dr. Nasser and his achievements and services in the field of Islamic education. Prof. Dr. Nasser were honored to deliver a brief lecture on “Innovation and Development in Tadabbur Al-Quran” to the management and staff of the university.
The session emphasized on Tadabbur practice or understanding the contents of the Al-Quran. Sheikh Dr. Nasser also explained that the practice Tadabbur Qur’an has become very important thing that can build the glory of Islam. Sheikh Prof, Dr. Nasser was born in 1952 in the village of Maridisiyah, District Buraidah located in Qassim region. In 1993, he was appointed as a Professor at the Islamic University of Al Imam Muhammad Bin Saud and a well known scholar who has always given special attention related problems of Muslims today.
