Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) recently held an Arabic Language and Development of Students’ Skills Competition for the students on Friday, 15 May 2015. The competition was organized by Faculty of Languages and Center of Languages in colloboration with Students Activities Department.
The session begins with a Quran recitation by the faculty’s student, brother Mohammed Farhan and followed by an opening speech by the Dean, Faculty of Languages; Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega whom expressed his acknowledgement to Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi for his the support and encouragement of such students activities in order to develop the students interpersonal skills in the field of Arabic languages. The competition includes debate, poem and session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Salem and Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulwasiu Isiaq Nasirudeenas as the competition juries. At the end of the ceremony, Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega distributed the gift prizes to the winners and students participated in the program and hope such activities will be implement in the near future.
