Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has held its Waqf Al-Quran program under university community service activity in achieving the agenda for enlighten the mosques and surau in Klang Valley areas. The program was held on Saturday, 7 May 2016 at Surau Al-Hidayah, Section 11, Shah Alam. An amount of 50 holy Quran were distributed to the surau with its being authorized by the Research Division of the University of Al-Azhar, The Islamic Affairs and Endowments of Saudi Arabia were delivered by MEDIU’s representatives. MEDIU’s students and staff had the opportunity to assist the surau committee members for the clean-up activities in conjunction with welcoming the holy month of Ramadan this year.
The contribution of the Quran was represented by Datuk Mohd Zaini Osman, Chairman of Surau Al-Hidayah by Prof. Ir. Dr. Wan Mahmood Wan Ab. Majid, Dean Faculty of Engineering in the presence MEDIU’s representatives namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayman Aied Mohammed Mamdouh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ashraff Hasan Mohammad, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamdy AbdelKarim Kassem, Ust. Jamaluddin Hussain, Mr. Al-Harath Abdulaziz Mohammed Ateik and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umar Aliyu Abubakar.
