Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has held its Waqf Al-Quran program under university community service activity in achieving the agenda for enlighten the mosques and surau in Klang Valley areas. The program was held on Saturday, 4 June 2016 at Surau Al-Ansor, Section 2, Shah Alam. An amount of 50 holy Quran were distributed to the surau with its being authorized by the Research Division of the University of Al-Azhar, The Islamic Affairs and Endowments of Saudi Arabia were delivered by MEDIU’s representatives. MEDIU’s students and staff had the opportunity to assist the surau committee members for the clean-up activities in conjunction with welcoming the holy month of Ramadan this year.
The contribution of the Quran was presented to Dato ‘Hisham Ses, Deputy Chief of UMNO Shah Alam Division in the presence of Surau Al-Ansor committee. MEDIU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayman Aied Mohammed Mamdouh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ashraff Hasan Mohammad, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamdy AbdelKarim Kassem, Ust. Jamaluddin Hussain, Mr. Al-Harath Abdulaziz Mohammed Ateik and others.
