Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has held its Waqf Al-Quran program under university community service activity in achieving the agenda for enlighten the mosques and surau in Klang Valley areas. The program was held on Friday, 25 March 2016 at Surau Ubudiah and Surau in Apartment Klang Jaya, Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Selangor. An amount of 50 holy Quran were distributed to both surau with its being authorized by the Research Division of the University of Al-Azhar, The Islamic Affairs and Endowments of Saudi Arabia were delivered by MEDIU’s representatives.
The contribution of the Quran was represented by Ustaz Ubudiah Sharafuddin, Chairman of Surau Ubudiah meanwhile Mr. Mohd Erwan bin Pin represents Surau Apartment Klang Jaya. The surau committee members for both surau witness the occasion in the presence of Mr. Muhd Ali Bin Zakaria, Chairman of the 4B Youth Alumni, Parliament of Raja, Klang accompanied by his Deputy, Mr. Mustaqim Zainol. MEDIU was represented by Ustaz Abdullah Usof; Head of Corporate Services, Ustaz Jamaluddin Hussain; Head of Public Relations and Mr. Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman; Head of Marketing Department.
