Campus Management System(CMS) Training

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) held a one-week training course on the Campus Management System(CMS) usage to the Deanship of Admission and Registration personnel from Monday-Friday, 19-23 May 2014. The course was held under the supervision of MEDIU’s Research and Development Division.

The session begin with Mr.Wesam Hassan Awadd; Deputy Dean of Admission and Registration clarified on the roles of each department’s in the Deanship and how the Campus Management System (CMS) assist in managing the student affairs from the registration of the students up till the students graduate as well as the role of the Head of Department in the ensuing the work through the system is based on rules set by the university.

The session was to provide the importance of the system in guiding the Head of Departments (HOD’s) through the admission and registration process as a whole. Thus, the session aims to raise the level of performance and efficiency of the staff towards the goals of the Student Affairs Division.

Among the topic of the training are:

  1. Job scopes for the Customer Service Department and applied to the CMS and CRM system and live chat system using WhosOn Live Chat
  2. Job scopes for the Marketing Department and applied to the CMS and CRM system.
  3. Work tasks for the Department of Admission and applied to the CMS.
  4. Job scopes for the Department of Examinations and Records and applied to the CMS.
  5. ALIM system.
  6. Student Portal.
