MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi made a working visit to various universities and charity organisations in Saudi Arabia by the end of March 2015. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi had the opportunity to meet with academician from various educational and charitable institutions namely University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, Islamic University of Madinah, Princess Nora bint Abdul Rahman University, Islamic Global Knowledge, Global Human Development, World Islamic Organization for Education and Subaie Charity Foundation.
The working visit are intended to discuss to develop academic and scientific relations between MEDIU and various educational institutions in Saudi Arabia, among others to discuss developments in the techniques of e-learning and distance learning as well as to view and learn from others on their experience in the education field and to discuss future cooperation between the universities.
Honorable CEO presented an introduction to the history and development of MEDIU as well as its achievement in the research and development areas. He also expressed his pride with MEDIU’s early existence as a non profit university which aims to provide teaching and learning in various disciplines by using the latest technology and modern way to expand the knowledge of Islam and the Arabic language globally.
