CEO Visit to Zadie Online Learning Academy, Saudi Arabia

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) had an official visit to Zadie Online Learning Academy, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, 20 October 2016. The visit was led by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi and was welcomed by the Head of Academy, Sheikh Mohammed bin Salih Al-Munajjid and Director of Online Program, Dr. Osama Zeidan Abdel-Rahman with the aim to strengthen ties between MEDIU and intenational educational institution.

Zadie Online Learning Academy (https://zadi.net/) is an open platform to facilitate learning and knowledge systems through massive open online courses (MOOC) with the vision of dissemination of educational knowledge with the latest modern technology, which facilitates access to reliable sources, for all ages, any level, any time, anywhere and at no cost.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi highlight on the university history and academic achievements especially in the academic programs recognition by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, with the current total of 70 academic programs has received full accreditation status out of 108 programs offered by the university.

At the end of the visit, university’s corporate book was presented as token of appreciation by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO and hope for a potential collaboration between the two parties in the field of scientific research in the future.
