CEO Visit to Islamic Cultural Center of Kuwait

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) led by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi visited the Islamic Cultural Center under the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait on Monday, 24 October 2016.

The visit was a part of his official working visit to Kuwait included several Islamic institution and bodies, which enhances the university’s vision and mission comprehensive consolidation in the cooperative area with esteemed Islamic personalities where he was greeted by the General Supervisor, HE Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Kandari.

During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi highlight on the university history, academic developments and achievements especially in the academic programs recognition by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, with the current total of 72 academic programs has received full accreditation status out of 108 programs offered by the university. University’s corporate book which was released in September 2016 was presented as token of appreciation, and the host expressed his pleasure for the friendly visit by the university.

The Islamic Cultural Centre in Kuwait was established in 2009, with the objectives of teaching Arabic to foreigners and others, memorization of the Quran and others. The centre runs free of charge with the aims to spread the Islamic knowledge approach.
