Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) had an official visit to the College of Shari’ah and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University on Tuesday, 25 October 2016. The visit was led by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi during his working visit to Kuwait and was welcomed by Dean, Faculty of Shari’ah and Islamic Studies; Prod. Dr. Fahad Al Rashidi and Deputy Dean, Dr. Walid Al-Ali.
The visit aim to strengthen ties between MEDIU and international islamic educational institution, wherein Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi highlight on the university history and academic achievements especially in the academic programs recognition by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, with the current total of 70 academic programs has received full accreditation status out of 108 programs offered by the university At the end of the visit, university’s corporate book was presented as token of appreciation by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO and expressed his pleasure for the friendly visit, and hope to collaborates in the field of academic and scientific research.
College of Shari’ah and Islamic Studies (http://www.shariakuniv.com/) established in 1982 by the late Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The establishment aims to become a center of reference for the establishment of young rising university, act as the source of Islamist radiation specialist extends its effects through Kuwait and other Islamic countries and peoples who looks forward to further studies in the Shari’ah and Islamic field.
