CEO attend ‘Scientific Symposium on Liberalism-Dimensions and Mechanisms’

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi attended the Scientific Symposium on Liberalism-Dimensions and Mechanisms which was held at Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 20 December 2014. The seminar was organized by the Malaysian Muslim Solidarity(ISMA) and Al-Bayan Magazine. Among the prominent speakers of the symposium are Dr Abdul Rahim, Dr. Fahad Al-Ajlan, Dr. Adlan and Dr. Attiya Mohamed Yousry with the participation of local and abroad intellectual elite experts.

Honorable CEO attended the symposium accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Omar Al-Zomi; lecturer from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. The symposium highlights on the importance to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Islamic identity, and discard those that contradicts them. To uphold international studies in promoting the campaign of liberal values in the Muslim community, the importance of increasing awareness of the liberal thought and its assets as well as the media role in efforts to revive the right Islamic values right through educational and intellectual medium to the community members.
