The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: A continuous charity, knowledge by which people derive benefit, pious son who prays for him.”

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received an invitation by the Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation(YAPEIM) to brief the Malaysian staff on the company’s background on Tuesday, 25 March 2014.

YAPEIM is a foundation established by the Federal Government on 1976 and incorporated under the Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952. It is an organisation under the Prime Minister Office and being monitored by Ministry of Islamic Affairs. The organization has been assigned by the Prime Minister Office to create awareness on the charity to support the Muslims brotherhood.

The briefing session is for all local staff to introduce the organization as well as to contribute to the organization through charity donation for the Muslim economy particularly in Malaysia and for the Muslim world in general. Thus, the representative urges all the Malaysian staff to contribute to charity through the payroll deduction scheme and this is in line with the company’s mission “Building a Culture of Ummah Through Charity Donation”.
