Al-Madinah International University signs a MOU with Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College in the Sultanate of Brunei

Within the framework of strengthening the university’s relations with academic institutions concerned with teaching Islamic and educational sciences, Al-Madinah International University, represented by its CEO, Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Alarefi, signed a memorandum of cooperation on September 1, 2023 with Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College in Brunei, represented by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Hajj Abang Hazmin Bin Abang Haji Taha at Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College in the Sultanate of Brunei. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abang Hazmin bin Abang Haj Taha welcomed Dr. Abdullah Alarefi, stressing the concept of cooperation between academic institutions in a way that serves academic research and enhances the teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers.

For his part, Dr. Abdullah Alarefi praised the efforts made by the various academic institutions. In the Sultanate of Brunei, led by Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, in order to teach Islamic sciences and the Arabic language, he explained the efforts of Al-Madinah International University in these fields and its close experience in on campus and online education, welcoming cooperation between universities in the Sultanate of Brunei and their counterparts from Malaysian universities. The meeting concluded with the signing of the agreement, and the exchange of souvenirs and gifts.
