MQA Accreditation Visit – Master in Ulum Al-Hadith (MQA/FA 0773)

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for its master academic programs (on campus) for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences on 27-28 February 2017. The delegation panels were Prof. Dr Engku Ahmad Zaki Engku Alwi (UNISZA) and Dr. Mohd. Faizal Abdul Kadir (Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Puan Suhana Ramli.

The master academic program that was being evaluated is Master in Ulum Al-Hadith (MQA/FA 0773)The delegation was welcomed by Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usman Jakfar along with the academic faculty members, registrar personnel as well as administrative officer

The evaluation of the programs involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers. At the end of the visit, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
