MQA Accreditation Visit – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) of Education – MQA/PA1295 and MQA/PA1296

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for its PhD academic programs as stated for the Faculty of Education on 1-2 March 2017. The delegation panels were Prof. Madya Dr Zahari Ishak (UM), Prof. Madya Dr. Bhasah Abu Bakar, Prof. Madya Dr Samsilah Roslan (UPM), Prof. Madya Dr Muhamad Zahiri Awang Mat (UIAM), Prof. Madya Dr. Azidah Abu Ziden (USM) and Dr. Mohamad Khairi Hj. Othman (UUM) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Puan Rosmaliza Mohaidin.

The delegation was welcomed by Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani, Dean of the Faculty of Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayman Aied Mohammed Mamdouh along with the academic faculty members, registrar personnel as well as administrative officers.

The evaluation of the programs involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers. At the end of the visit, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
