A delegation from the education sector in the Philippines visits the campus of Al-Madinah International University in Kuala Lumpur

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, Dr. Abdullah Alarefi, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, received at the university’s campus in Kuala Lumpur a delegation from the education sector in the ninth regional office in the Republic of the Philippines, headed by Dr. Gregorio Cyrus R. Elejorde, Assistant Regional Director of Department of Education at Regional Office IX in Zamboanga Peninsular, The Republic of the Philippines, and Dr. Sarah Lucman Handang, Education Program Supervisor, Madrasah Education Program, at the same organization.

The delegation expressed their happiness at visiting the university, and that the aim of this visit is to cooperate with Al-Madinah International University to benefit from its expertise in teaching Arabic language subjects and Islamic sciences in government schools for children of the Muslim minority in the Philippines. Dr. Abdullah Alarefi welcomed the visiting delegation from the Republic of the Philippines, expressing the university’s readiness to cooperate and strengthen the relationship between them. Common topics were discussed in the presence of representatives of faculties at Al-Madinah International University. The visit concluded with group photos.
