Coding, Thinking and Winning Competition by FCIT

The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (FCIT) of Al-Madinah International Universit (MEDIU) recently held Coding, Thinking and Winning Competition on Thursday, 11 May 2017. The competition aims at enhancing the spirit of cooperation between the bachelor and master’s student and offering them the skills of constructive competition.

Dean of FCIT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wael Mohamed Shaher Yafooz stated that the competitions are an indicator of the students’ level and a measure of the learning outcomes, which confirms the achievement of the mission and objectives of the faculty. The competition consist of two parts, first the practical and theoretical which include four sections; he application questions for computer programming, computer networks, hardware and web programming and follow by a 3D presentation for the final part. The session was administer by the faculty’s lecturers namely, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Salah Mahmoud Al-Ahmad supervised the arbitration process for the programming department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shadi M.S. Hilles for the computer networks department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yousef Abu Baker El-Ebiary for the department of computers and Mr.Said Mohammad Ahmad Altahat for Web Programming.
