Visit by VP Academic Affairs, Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), Kuwait

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received an honored guest from Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) on Wednesday, 5 April 2017. The visit was led by the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Salah Ayed Al-Sharhan and was welcomed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office with the aim to look more closely in MEDIU’s implementation as distance learning education and its achievements and discussing ways of cooperation in the technical fields, training and scientific research.

During the visit, the orientation of the University’s education system is in the adoption of the latest technology as well as a pioneer in e-learning method in pursuit of global modern educational system were briefed to the delegates. A visual presentation on MEDIU, its techniques and educational administrative process as well as on the technology infrastructure, overview on Campus Management System (CMS) and presentation on Advanced Learning i-Management (ALIM) were presented to the delegates.

At the end of the visit, token of appreciation were presented to Dr. Salah Ayed Al-Sharhan and convey his admiration towards MEDIU achievements and reputation by stating in the guest book, “I am very happy for the opportunity to visit the university and Honorable CEO and wish for more brighter success in the future”.

GUST (https://www.gust.edu.kw/) is a strategic partnership was established with the University of Missouri at St. Louis (UMSL), the international counterpart university chosen to help bring the realization of the projected university as the first private university in the State of Kuwait in 2002.GUST has continually improved and expanded its educational and organizational capacities while steadily increasing its enrolments.
