Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in the National Higher Education Carnival which was held recently at Padang Kawad Kampus Induk, USM, Pulau Pinang on 4-5 March 2017. The first zone of ‘Karnival Jom Masuk IPT’ 2017 carnival was officiated recently by Dato’ Seri Haji Idris bin Jusoh, Minister of Higher Education in Kelantan. The program was organized by the Department of Higher Education and the tagline ‘Karnival Jom Masuk IPT’ is used to motivate the school leavers to obtain accurate and timely information on various educational opportunities in Malaysia.
Through the 2 days events at the Northern Zone (Pulau Pinang), MEDIU were represented by Head of marketing Department, Mr. Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman and assisted by Marketing Executives namely Mr. Aymen Ayub Ibrahim and Mr. Muhammad Uwais As-Sadiq Bin Abdul Rahim. They have taken the opportunity as a platform to market MEDIU’s academic programs to the prospective students in person as well as to create awareness to the public on the admission and registration requirements. The exhibition help school leavers in the northern states of Malaysia; namely Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Perlis to obtain more information on MEDIU and able to communicate directly with the university’s marketing officers if they are keen and interested to know the programs offer by the university.
The education exhibition is aimed at promoting and disseminating information on opportunities for higher education especially for the high school leavers holding the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent. School leavers and potential students are encouraged to bring their latest results to seek advices from the representatives upfront.
