MEDIU’s 13th Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

 

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 13^th EMC meeting on Wednesday, 9 April 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

 

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:

–       To assist suspended (on-campus)postgraduate students whom are in the midst of writing thesis  to work as part timers for 20 hours weekly; in return to waive RM1000 monthly in their outstanding balance.

–        To open MQA subjects for the graduating students as follows and the consultation/tutorial session will be conduct through seven(7) times for 1 hour.

 

–       To assign Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Mat as Acting Dean for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.

–       To appoint Mr.Shaker Bany Melhem as Head of Department of Islamic Finance and Banking in the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.

–       To appoint  Mr.Mohammed Abdulrazzaq Nasser as Head of Department of Economics and Management in the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.

–       To reactivate the Sudanese students for Feb 2014 semester based on the Sudanese Embassy letter
