Closing Ceremony English Summer Camp 2016

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently held a closing ceremony for English Summer Camp 2016 on Wednesday, 7 September 2016. The two months program has attracted nearly 27 participants from the middle east region which includes 240 hours of learning program in the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing of English medium.

The session was held in the presence of Dean, Faculty of Languages and Director, Centre of Languages; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Daud Quadir Elega and Director, MEDIU’s Center for Training and Continuing Education; Mr. Abdulkarem Mohammed Hussein Al-Rawdhi and the summer camp teachers. Presentation of certificates were presented by Prof.Madya Dr.AB Rahim Ismail, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Department of Research and Development.

The program has equipped the participants in providing participants with the skills to deal and communicate in English and to use it in their everyday life as well as providing a culturally inclusive and global education experience.  Apart from the classroom activity, the program also interspersed with cultural, recreational and tourism activities such as visiting Malaysia’s tourist attraction such as Putrajaya, Genting Highlands, Malacca and such to enable the participants to practice the knowledge and skills learned during the two months program.
