Workshop: Publishing Article In ISI/SCOPUS Indexed Journals and Participation In Research And Innovation Exhibition

MEDIU’s Research and Development (R&D) Division held a workshop session on “Publishing Article In ISI/SCOPUS Indexed Journals and Participation In Research And Innovation Exhibition” on Thursday, 1 September 2016. The session was presented by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Muhammad Sabri Sahrir; expertise in ISI/SCOPUS indexed journals field and academician from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).The one-day workshop session were led by Deputy CEO, R&D Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ab Rahim Ismail and attended by MEDIU’s lecturers, deans and faculty members.

The objectives of the workshop are to help the participants in preparing their articles for journal publication, to share effective strategies and techniques in writing a journal article as well as to assist the participants in publishing their article in ISI/Scopus indexed journals.

The topics covered in the one day workshop among others are Effective Strategies in Article Writing, Selection of High Impact Journals in Arabic and Islamic Studies, Evaluation Criteria of Reviewers’ reports and Editorial Considerations and such.

The participants were delighted on such workshop as it has equipped them with necessary knowledge and skills in writing journals as well as guided them to select the high impact journals for their journal articles.
